Yet, the collective human consciousness seems to be lagging behind the rapid advancements in AI. Why is this so?

The Illusion of Control

One reason for this disconnect is the illusion of control. Humans have a deep-seated need to feel in charge of their destinies. The rapid evolution of AI challenges this fundamental belief. It’s easier to ignore the implications of a technology that seems distant or intangible.

Fear of the Unknown

Fear is another significant barrier. The unknown is inherently unsettling, and AI represents a vast expanse of possibilities, many of which are yet to be fully understood. Will AI create more jobs or eliminate them? Will it enhance our lives or pose a threat to our existence? These questions are daunting, and it’s easier to avoid them than to confront them.
